Very good ππΌ I love the food here. The roast pork wanton noodles were tasty and nicely balanced, the curry chicken with rice was full of flavour, and the char kuay teow had that perfect wok hei. Great portions and friendly service too. Definitely worth coming back for!

I have been here before some years back. I suspect the ownership or chef has changed. The service was friendly enough - we didn't have a booking but they fitted us in at a large reserved table on the proviso we could be out before the hour was up. When a smaller table was later vacated, they were happy for us to move so we could linger, snd linger we did as old friends fo over a hot soupy dish.
I had the curry lsksa but on first impression, I felt it wasn't a Malaysian who cooked it. See my pic. It's one of those with added curry powder, I suspect, as the curry was not well blended into the soup. It was low in chicken pieces, maybe 3 small pieces, and mainly soup and noodles with sliced fish caked, one taufu pok, egg. I didn't drink the soup.
My friend's fish wings with milky soup had small wings compared to other places. It's not one I drooled over nor one I'll crave to order should I return.
The positive is that we could linger past 9 and not many places open till late these days with customers still happily chatting away. The toilet is at the back so is a walk out in the cold which is not as conducive to chinwagging any later than the bladder permits anyway.
Woke up thirsty with near low-grade headache which usually means the good had MSG.
